What is CKHA?

CKHA is a 200-bed hospital that offers a full range of medical and diagnostic services including CT, MRI, and 24- hour laboratory, diagnostic imaging, pathology and respiratory therapy services. We also offer specialty services in Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, ENT, Orthopedic Surgery, General Surgery, Anesthesia, Psychiatry, Urology and OB/GYN. 

Where on Earth is CKHA?

Located at the very southern tip of Ontario, Chatham isn’t called the banana belt of Canada for nothing.  Situated between two fresh water lakes and located below the snowbelt, Chatham-Kent offers a great climate and a variety of activities for people of all ages and interests. We are a short drive from Detroit, Windsor and London and have a direct VIA train route to Toronto which allows for many international travel options. In 2021, Chatham-Kent was ranked #27 on Maclean's list of Best Communities in Canada, and we have been featured in the top 10 of U-Haul's Top 25 Growth Cities in Canada list the last three years running.
