Community Health and Family Medicine at the University of Florida

Our Department is dedicated to positively shaping the future of healthcare through outstanding teaching, discovery, and innovation in family medicine. Our teaching programs integrate humanistic medicine, medical ethics, behavioral medicine, and rural and community health into both undergraduate and graduate curricula. The department has model practice sites in several communities, providing training in urban and rural medicine and health care for underserved areas in the state. These teaching and clinical activities are augmented by a variety of research projects that explore and contribute to the scientific knowledge base in family and community medicine, rural health, primary care, behavioral medicine, and the medical humanities. https://chfm.ufl.edu/
