Our Mission

East Boston Neighborhood Health Center’s mission is to promote and sustain healthy communities, families, and individuals by providing accessible, person-centered, compassionate, high-quality health care services to all who live and work in our service area, regardless of ability to pay, while upholding diversity, equity, and inclusion at the core of all that we do.

Our Vision Statement

In 2025, EBNHC will be our nation’s best example of high-quality innovative community-based health care with an expanded physical presence across several key communities served by EBNHC.

EBNHC will be a center of excellence for talent management and employee engagement, playing a leadership role in education and research and driving the national conversation on strategies to promote health equity.

EBNHC will be the health provider of choice for preventative and primary care services in the communities in which we operate. The patient experience will be reimagined and provide a consistent, connected, and integrated patient experience where person-centered care extends beyond the exam room into every patient interaction and all aspects of our work.

Our organization will be supported by a well-designed and fortified foundation of high-quality IT systems, facilities, and best-practice business processes, ensuring that our mission will continue to thrive for another 50 years.
