Inland Behavioral and Health Services, Inc.
Inland Behavioral and Health Services is a community-based non-profit Federally Qualified Healthcare Provider with three locations in San Bernardino and one in Banning. We offer many health services, including Medical, Dental, and Behavioral healthcare.
IBHS began in 1976 as a substance abuse treatment center, and in the 1990s, primary care services were added. In 2002, we became a federally funded community health center. IBHS serves medically underserved and uninsured patients in the City of San Bernardino and the City of Banning in neighboring Riverside County, CA.
IBHS provides a full spectrum of primary care and community services at four freestanding locations. Services address major healthcare needs, barriers, and disparities in the service area, including disproportionate rates of cardiovascular disease, hypertension, diabetes, asthma, poor perinatal indicators, and a lack of access to oral health and behavioral health care. In recent years, PEP for HIV+ people and PrEP for those at risk of HIV have been a priority. We also address common barriers due to social determinants of health, such as food insecurity, transportation, and legal issues.
To meet community needs, IBHS will continue to offer comprehensive primary care services for patients of all ages. Our “one-stop” sites will provide: comprehensive primary health care and screenings (including extended hours and urgent care in select sites); pediatric/well child care, immunizations, family planning and OB/Gyn, oral health treatment, substance abuse and mental health counseling, case management, insurance eligibility/enrollment, health education and outreach, transportation, medical-legal partnership services, pharmacy, laboratory, nutrition, diagnostic imaging, and WIC services. We also provide testing, vaccination, and treatment for COVID-19.
