Knox Winamac Community Health Center (KWCHC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (Look-alike) in Knox, Indiana. KWCHC offers comprehensive healthcare services to the communities we serve regardless of ability to pay. Established in 2006 by area physicians. KWCHC became a Federally Qualified Health Center in 2010. Governed by a Board of Directors, The Mission of Knox Winamac Community Health Center is to provide quality primary health care services, accessible to persons in our community, including the medically underinsured and uninsured.
KWCHC medical staff currently includes two family practice physicians, two nurse practitioners and one Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Each of our providers has a dedicated medical assistant. In 2021 KWCHC served 2,377 patients in just over 14,293 visits. Our providers see 20-22patients per clinic day. The office is open Monday through Thursday from 8am to 7 pm, Friday from 8am to 4pm and Saturday from 8 am to 1pm. Each provider works until 7pm only one day a week and comes in at 10am on their 7pm day. Providers only work one Saturday a month.
