North Kansas City Hospital

Founded in 1958, North Kansas City Hospital continues to expand to meet the needs of our growing community. Now with 451 beds, we provide a host of inpatient and outpatient services, in a state-of-the-art facility, to improve the health of our patients and our community.

A leader in high technology and excellent care, North Kansas City Hospital was one of the first hospitals in the country to implement a cardiac hospice program, PACS (a fully-integrated filmless radiology system), and a pharmacy “robot” which stores, retrieves and dispenses medication. Most recently, the Hospital acquired a 64-slice CT scanncer and the daVinci surgical robotic system.

The metropolitan Kansas City area offers one of the lowest costs of living in the United States. It is a city that truly offers the amenities of a larger city with many galleries, parks, sporting events, and theaters, but has retained its Midwestern family-oriented values. North Kansas City Hospital’s location allows you to be anywhere in the city in less than thirty minutes, including the Kansas City International Airport. The Northland region is one of the most rapidly growing areas of Kansas City and its demographics include the second highest income level in both metropolitan Kansas City and in the state of Missouri and is listed among the 250 most affluent in America.
