Riverview Psychiatric Center

Riverview Psychiatric Center (RPC) is a 92-bed, state run, psychiatric hospital that opened in 2004 dedicated to patient self-determination and recovery. RPC provides outstanding, effective and compassionate care for individuals with serious and persistent mental illness. Patients are referred to RPC for inpatient treamtent through either civil or forensic court commitment.

An interdisciplinary treatment team comprised of a psychiatrist, psychologist, psychiatric nurse practitioner, peer support specialist, social worker, nurse, acuity specialist, occupational therapist, recreational therapist, a job coach and mental health workers offer a full spectrum of services to meet the needs of each individual patient.

RPC works closely with the state's Outpatient Forensic Services (OFS) team to ensure that a patients' transition back into the community is fully supported and successful.
