From our humble beginnings back in 1903, at St. Mary’s Healthcare in Amsterdam, it’s always been about being here for our friends and neighbors. And we’re so proud to remain a local, independent hospital. We know it’s because of the community’s trust in us that we’ve become what we are today: a growing healthcare system that provides a wide range of critical services to the people of Montgomery and Fulton counties. We never take this trust for granted as we envision our bright future.

Amsterdam, a longtime milltown on the Mohawk River, is part of New York’s living history. Within an hour of Albany, Schenectady, and Saratoga Springs, this little city with the hometown feel is home to minor-league baseball and a wealth of recreation opportunities. Nearby Gloversville plays host to traveling performers at the region’s oldest theater—and is the gateway to the Adirondack Mountains.
