Community Description:
Having been ranked #1 Small City and Best Place to Live and Raise a Family (Fortune & Money Magazine), Manchester, located in picturesque New Hampshire, is the city where history invites opportunity. Traveling along the banks of the Merrrimack River, one sees a unique blending of history with current economic development in the state’s largest city. The old mill along the river has been transformed into quaint shops, galleries, and businesses. The community features traditional festivals, open air markets, great restaurants, and sporting and concert events available in the new 10,000 seat indoor Verizon Wirless Arena. The minor league (AA) FisherCats baseball team’s ballpark proudly sits 6,500 in a waterfront stadium. Manchester is also home to the Currier Gallery of Art and the Palace Theatre, some of northern New England’s finest art museums and musical theatres.

Manchester prides itself with being close to everything – within an hours drive of the Atlantic Ocean, largest peaks of the White Mountains, pristine Lakes Region, and the city of  Boston – offering something for everyone. New Hampshire has no state income or sales tax, has highly ranked public schools, and continues to be ranked one of the most “healthy” and “liveable” states in the nation. Manchester-Boston Regional Airport offers easy access to all major cities, many offering direct flights. New Hampshire no longer needs to be a destination – call it “home.”
