Dartmouth Hitchcock Clinic Nashua
Practice Description:
For more than 35 years, and as the first charitable physician group in the community, Dartmouth-Hitchcock Nashua (previously known as Mathew Thornton Health Plan) has committed itself to the healthcare needs of the greater Nashua area. Today, Dartmouth-Hitchcock Nashua is a dynamic 100+ physician-led organization based in Southern New Hampshire with two multi-specialty group practices in Nashua and primary care sites in the surrounding communities of Milford, Merrimack, and Hudson. Dartmouth-Hitchcock Nashua is part of the Dartmouth-Hitchcock health care system, a growing and aggressive academic system, which includes the nationally recognized teaching and research care facility, Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, 90 miles north in Lebanon.
All locations offer same-day appointments, and patients and providers at various practices benefit from convenient in-house lab and x-ray services, an Urgent Care Center for evening and weekend care, and recently expanded radiology services including Bone Density testing (DEXA), MRI, and CT services. As a multi-specialty group practice, an array of primary and specialty services are available, many under one roof. Outpatient tertiary level services are also provided onsite, including services of Norris Cotton Cancer Center, a National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center, and reproductive endocrinology/infertility provided by specialists that travel down from Lebanon to provide care locally in the community.
Dartmouth-Hitchcock Nashua is part of the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Clinic, which includes four major group practice locations in picturesque southern New Hampshire – Concord, Keene, Manchester, and Nashua. All have a sophisticated electronic medical records system and a self-insured, well-organized risk management and liability system, making it one of the premier health systems in New England.
Dartmouth-Hitchcock is committed to its mission of providing high-quality health care and comfort to the ill, preventing illness among the well, and advancing good health practices through education, research, community service, and the improvement of clinical practice.
