FT. SILL

Lawton is situated in the foothills of the Wichita Mountains in Southwest Oklahoma, approximately 80 miles from Oklahoma City. The city's three public museums, The Museum of the Great Plains, The Fort Sill Museum, and the Comanche National museum, showcase the enduring history of the city, characterized by Native American Tribes and a strong military history. Cameron University is located in Lawton and along with Fort Sill, contributes to Lawton's healthy economy.
