Good Samaritan Hospital is an acute care hospital serving Santa Clara County, California. Good Samaritan Hospital is one of the first five hospitals in the United States certified by the Joint Commission as a Primary Stroke Center. In 2008, Good Samaritan was again the only northern California hospital to receive the Outstanding Achievement Award from the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer. Good Samaritan is an accredited Chest Pain Center. The ED is a leader in efficiency and high-quality emergency care, consistently ranking very high in patient satisfaction.
