Marshfield Medical Center – Minocqua is a medical campus that provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient health care to residents in the Northwoods.

The full-service facility will be designed to accommodate the latest technological advances in health care and will feature:

- Full surgical suite with operating rooms and procedure rooms including:
- DaVinci surgical robot that allows for precise imaging and placement, leading to smaller incisions and faster recovery times.
- Birthing center with private rooms for labor and delivery (LDRP) and a dedicated C-section room for planned and urgent deliveries.
- Emergency department, imaging and lab services, pharmacy, physical and occupational therapy, and more.

The Lakeland area is known for its large concentration of pristine freshwater lakes and four season recreation. Woods and water are in your backyard. As a Division I High School, we have the sports programs and extracurricular activities that come with being a large conference school. Children’s programs at Minocqua Public Library keep little ones learning and exploring. Northwoods’ Children’s Museum and the YMCA are a 30 minute drive to Rhinelander, WI.
North Central Conservatory of the Arts, Campanile Center for the Arts, Northern Lights Community Theater, Minocqua Concert Band, the Torpy Park Band Shell and many local art galleries create excellent art and music opportunities for both children and adults. Artists travel great distances to attend Rhinelander School of the Arts and Dillman's Creative Arts Foundation where nationally known artists teach each summer.

Winterpark Ski Chalet is known around the world for their excellent ski instructors and trails.
When you want to travel out of the area you will have access to the Rhinelander Airport in 30 minutes and the Central WI Airport is 90 minutes away; Madison is a 3 hour drive, Minneapolis/St. Paul is a 4 hour drive, Milwaukee or Chicago is a 5 hour drive and you’re only 90 minutes to the Shores of Lake Superior.
