Often, FCS leads the nation in initiating research studies and offering ground-breaking new therapies to patients. Specialist has a large well regarded Oncology practice based in Florida with 33 sites of PET/CT services.
FCS is expanding its team of oncologists and hematologists in hospital settings throughout Florida. We’re hiring a board-certified/eligible inpatient physician in Brownwood. This is an excellent full-time hospitalist opportunity to join a dynamic team committed to providing superior patient—and community-centered care. The Villages is a large master-planned community in Central Florida, one hour west of Orlando and a little over an hour northeast of Tampa. The area offers a peaceful and close-knit community, boasting natural surroundings with ample opportunity for outdoor activities. This area sits between two large airports, MCO and TPA. The Brownwood clinic is a well-established location, open for 15 years. Fellows are eligible to apply. The physician group consists of nine physicians. Hospitalist schedule is Monday - Friday which includes weekly hospital rounding and weekend call (on-site). The physician can expect 1-2 days in clinic.

The practice is looking for a team-oriented fellowship trained general medical oncologist and hematologist.

Candidates’ responsibilities include out-patient clinics, clinical research, chemo supervision, in-patient, and consultation services.
Candidates’ responsibilities will include managing both malignant cancers, and benign hematology diagnosis.

Full unrestricted Florida MD/DO License
BC/BE in Hematology/Oncology
Rotating call may be required.
