ABOUT HEALTHPLEXES

Three newly-built outpatient facilities are slated to be in Henderson, Madisonville and Muhlenberg County. The facilities will house new health services for the communities such as primary care, urgent care, urology, orthopedics, general surgery, cardiology and more.

The Owensboro Health leadership team and Board of Directors are focused on proactively identifying and responding to healthcare needs throughout western Kentucky and southern Indiana. The new outpatient facilities further support Owensboro Health’s mission to heal the sick and to improve the health of the communities we serve by providing a wide range of outpatient services as well as providing patients convenient access to the care they need, when they need it.

ABOUT OWENSBORO HEALTH

Owensboro Health is a nonprofit health system with a mission to heal the sick and to improve the health of the communities it serves in Kentucky and Indiana. REGIONAL HOSPITAL

Owensboro Health Regional Hospital represents a new era of health care and wellness for the region. The brand-new, $500 million dollar hospital and medical office building project features a nine-story facility licensed for 477 patient beds, and offers views of lush green vistas and natural scenery from every room. In addition, highly advanced medical technology is easily accessible. Among the advancements, Owensboro Health has invested in:

• 2 da Vinci® surgical systems to aid in minimally invasive procedures
• Expanded Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

Each year, Owensboro Health Regional Hospital averages 2,100 births; 73,000 ER visits, 18,000 admissions and 870,000 outpatient visits.. System-wide, the organization has nearly 4,800 employees and over 250 medical staff.
