The Practice

The City of Nampa, Idaho (pop. 82,000) has a motto: "small-town feeling, big-time fun." Saint Alphonsus Nampa Health Plaza is home to a freestanding ED (FSED) that provides 24-7 care for patients with emergent cardiac, stroke, and orthopedic conditions. The department is operated by Saint Alphonsus Medical Center, a full-service hospital located just five miles southwest of the plaza. On-site services include imaging, laboratory, pharmacy, and post-acute follow-up care.
