Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center
Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center today is a 164-bed hospital has been providing acute care services to the San Luis Obispo community since 1959. It is the only hospital in San Luis Obispo County to offer high-risk pregnancy care, neonatal intensive care, the da Vinci Surgical Robot program, neurosurgery, pediatric care and trauma care. The facility's Birth Center has delivered more than 40,000 babies in the past 50 years. All patients have access to private labor and delivery rooms as well as private recovery rooms. The hospital specializes in treatment of maternal, fetal and obstetrical complications, and is home to a level III NICU.
