Tufts Medical Center is an academic medical center unlike any other. We have been offering the highest level of academic medicine and research for over 200 years, but never forget that at the heart of every treatment, every innovation and every research discovery, is our patients and their families. While we offer big services like heart transplants and trauma care, but we never forget that it is the little things that really make a difference for our physicians, our patients and their families. Each and every employee at Tufts Medical Center lives our goal, to treat every patient as we would want our own families to be treated.

Located in Downtown Boston in Chinatown and the Theatre District, the 415-bed Medical Center is the oldest permanent medical facility in the country and was founded by early American patriots including Paul Revere and Samuel Adams. Each and every day, the employees and physicians at Tufts Medical Center know that their work is building on an impressive history of innovation, selflessness and courage. Advances in clinical care, policy and research continue a long tradition of health care firsts and important medical advancements begun on this same ground more than two centuries ago.
