UK King's Daughters

Established in 1899, King's Daughters Medical Center is a 465-bed regional referral center that serves patients throughout Kentucky, Ohio and West Virginia - a service area of more than 750,000 patients. In the past few years, we have become part of the University of Kentucky, partnering with their residents and fellows rotating thru our medical center. This affiliation has been great for both partners and has committed additional growth for our health system. We currently have a $90 million dollar new emergency room, central sterile, radiology and endoscopy center taking place and will be completed by Spring of 2025. Lots of continued growth and additional revenue being invested back into our team and staff here at King's Daughters.
Our medical staff features more than 50 specialties, including cardiology and cardiothoracic surgery, electrophysiology, vascular surgery, neurology and neurosurgery, medical and radiation oncology, general and orthopedic surgery, urology, GI, ENT and nephrology.
We have 20+ outreach facilities throughout eastern Kentucky and southern Ohio, providing family medical care, as well as cardiology, urology, nephrology and neurology.
KDMC's Emergency Department hosts more than 80,000 visits annually and is among the busiest in the state of Kentucky.
