UMC Physicians is a Texas certified nonprofit healthcare organization that provides quality healthcare to Lubbock and the surrounding areas.  UMC Physicians has been recognized by Texas Monthly as “One of the Best Companies to Work for in Texas®.

Since its inception in 1996, UMC Physicians (UMCP) has grown to over 115 providers representing all primary care specialties – family practice, internal medicine, and pediatrics. UMCP also offers physicians specializing in gastroenterology, allergy & immunology, obstetrics and gynecology, cardiovascular & thoracic surgery, and neurosurgery.

Our support staff consists of more than 450 experienced nurses, ancillary services, and administrative professionals. We have approximately 30 practice sites located throughout Lubbock and the surrounding area including primary care centers and urgent care clinics open seven days a week.  Combined, these practices provide care to over 400,000 patients annually.
