Exciting opportunity for a Neurosurgeon to join a rapidly growing practice at Memorial Hospital's Brain and Spine Center in Carbondale, IL. This opportunity stands out as a great opportunity for many reasons: One being we have Neuro trained Neuro Critical Care Physicians take primary call 24/7 for all Neurosciences and will involve physicians at the appropriate time. Thus, allowing the Neurosurgeons to focus on surgery patients. We also have onsite Physical Therapy for rehabilitation referrals, a competitive salary, and offer state-of-the-art equipment as well as an Angi Suite/Hybrid OR. Qualifications for this opportunity are as follows:
- Completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited Residency training program in Neurological Surgery.
- Certification Current certification in Neurological Surgery by the American Board of Neurological Surgery or in Neurological Surgery by the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery or its equivalent.
- Board certification must be achieved within five years of being admissible to take the exam.
- Clinical Experience Applicant must provide documentation of provision of neurological surgery services (50 cases) representative of the scope and complexity of the privileges requested during the last 24 months (waived for applicants who completed training during the previous year).
