Emergency Medicine Physician Job at Western Healthcare in Denton, TX

Practice Description:

Western Healthcare is seeking an Emergency Medicine physician assistant/NP  to join our team to work at a Community Hospital in the Emergency Department in NTX. 

• ED Volume: Around 16,000-17,000 annual visits.
  Where: (Far North Texas)-around 30 miles from Denton or 60-70 miles from Dallas/Fort Worth.
  Daily Coverage: 24hr Physician Coverage (12hr shifts, 7-7) + 8hr NP/PA coverage.
  -NP/PA Shift will be 1p-9p, all 7 days of the week.
  Work-Loads: Reasonable, around 1.5 patients per hour avg.
  EMR: Medhost.
  11 Bed ED.
  Credentialing: Quick, 1 month or less.
  Start Dates accepted: June - July or August 2023.   
  This will be 1099 based, but not like a traditional locums position as it's a privately managed long-term contract.
  Our managed contracts can provide; Very stable, long-term arrangements. Also can offer 3mo, 6 mo, 12mo+ contracts.
  We will be seeking TX licensed Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants with relevant EM experience who can drive-in to the area, no flights.
