Job Description

Rural Family Medicine Physician | Full-Time |  Work-Life Balance

Aviva Health, Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC).

Aviva Health is an independent, board-governed, not-for-profit organization that cares for the people of Douglas County by providing high-quality, patient-centered, accessible, and affordable medical, dental and behavioral health care, regardless of their ability to pay. Aviva Health offers integrated services from 10 clinic sites in Roseburg, Myrtle Creek, Sutherlin, Glide, and North Douglas County (Drain), including a Teen Health Center located on the campus of Roseburg High School. In partnership with CHI Mercy Medical Center, Aviva Health also serves as the family medicine practice site for the Roseburg Family Medicine Residency Program.

Douglas County stretches from the Pacific Ocean to the Cascade Range and world-class outdoor activities are within a couple of hours or less of the county seat, Roseburg. The coast is roughly an hour west, dozens of waterfalls and hiking trails are minutes away and the rivers, lakes, reservoirs, and streams are some of the best fisheries in the Pacific Northwest.

Qualifications: 

  • Completion of a medical degree program.
  • Residency in a primary care specialty is desired.
  • Professional clinical experience in Family Practice, including obstetrics, adult and pediatric acute and chronic primary care, office gynecology, and emergency care desired.
  • Current unencumbered licensure in the state of Oregon or license-eligible to practice medicine in Oregon.
  • Hold current unencumbered DEA license.
  • CPR certification.
