Pediatrics - Child Abuse and Neglect Job at MultiCare Health System in Tacoma, WA

We are seeking a dynamic Child Abuse Intervention Pediatrician to join our outstanding team at Mary Bridge Children's Hospital in Tacoma, Washington. This full-time position will involve sexual assault intervention, physical abuse intervention, foster care assessments, and close collaboration with the Child Advocacy Center (CAC) of Pierce County. In addition, this role includes inpatient consultations, outpatient child maltreatment evaluations, and the opportunity to support and develop medical standards, protocols, and pathways to enhance patient care.

You will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team working closely with community partners and agencies to ensure that our patient population has access to the resources they need. We are looking for someone who is passionate about improving the quality of care for children and is committed to fostering a supportive environment for patients, families, and staff.

Requirements

• Completion of CAID (Child Abuse Intervention) Training
• Board-Certified/Board-Eligible (BC/BE) at the time of employment
• Licensed in the State of Washington by the time of employment
• DEA, NPI, and Prescriptive Authority
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association
