  Located minutes off the I-40 corridor, UNC Health Blue Ridge is about 1 hour northwest of Charlotte, 1 hour south of Boone, and 1 hour east of Asheville.

Opportunity Highlights:

• 7on/7off schedule - Daytime position- 7a-7p Nocturnist position – 7p-7a
• ICU Management 1 week and floor management 1 week (for nocturnist)
  
• Management of higher acuity patients and ability to keep updated on procedures ( for nocturnist)
• Opportunity to participate in teaching IM residents and medical students
• Established Hospitalist program - currently staffed with 11 Physicians/4 APPs
• Full spectrum of specialty care support : Cardiology, General Surgery, Nephrology, Neurology, OB/GYN, Oncology, Orthopedics, Psychiatry, Pulmonary/Critical Care/ Sleep, Urology
• Candidates must be Internal Medicine trained and ABIM certified/board eligible
