  Work alongside an expanding pediatric subspecialist team and provide a high level of care while teaching and mentoring Deaconess Family Medicine Residents or Indiana University Medical Students. Your experience and expertise will help shape the future of healthcare in the region.

• Flexibility & Work-Life Balance:
  We offer a flexible schedule of 14-15 days per month, with 24-hour shifts. You’ll be expected to be available for admissions while working, but your presence on-site will only be required for a minimum of 8 hours per shift. Enjoy a balanced life while making a meaningful difference.

• Teaching Opportunities:
  As a leader in our pediatric program, you will have the opportunity to teach and guide the next generation of healthcare professionals, including Family Medicine Residents and Medical Students from Indiana University.

Additional Details:

• Call Schedule: One weekend every 3rd weekend
• APP Supervision: Supervise 12-hour shifts of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), with opportunities for teaching and training
• Newborn Nursery Coverage: Cover the newborn nursery and provide rotation coverage for physicians or pediatricians who don’t see their inpatient newborns
