Mayo Clinic’s Department of Ophthalmology in Rochester, MN is seeking a board-eligible/board-certified, fellowship-trained vitreoretinal surgeon to join our established practice. Additional niche expertise desirable. This position involves clinical care of patients, a busy surgical practice, and resident and fellow teaching and supervision in the clinics and operating rooms. Candidates should have an academic interest in clinical and/or laboratory research. The department has a strong history and tradition in treating patients with serious and complex eye disease, and currently comprises 40 faculty members who cover all subspecialty areas of ophthalmology. Candidates should be board-certified or board-eligible.
