Baystate Health, western Massachusetts’s premier healthcare provider and home to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School – Baystate, is seeking new & experienced hospitalists to join our growing team.

Position Highlights –

• The Hospital Medicine Division at Baystate Health consists of 120+ physicians & APPs who practice at our 4 hospitals in western MA.   
• Baystate Medical Center, our 716-bed flagship hospital in Springfield MA, is a level 1 trauma center and tertiary care center.  Our hospitalists also provide services at our community hospitals which are within a 20-45 minute radius. 
• Our hospitalists split time at our academic campus and community sites.  We can accommodate those with interest in working 100% at a community hospital. 
• We offer a 7on/7off schedule, 10-hour shifts.  Excellent support from swing shift and nocturnist providers.
• Our academic environment is well-suited to promote your professional development and career goals.  We offer a hospital medicine fellowship to enhance your business knowledge for future leadership roles, as well as an Academic Teaching Academy to develop your skills for an academic career.

• Compensation includes sign-on bonus, guaranteed variable compensation package, and relocation.

We are able to sponsor H1b visas but are unable to provide J1 waivers for day shift positions.

Qualifications:  ABMS BE/BC in Internal Medicine.  We seek physicians dedicated to a hospital medicine career and  a solid commitment to the Baystate values of collaboration, courage, quality and lifelong learning.
