Job Description

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) seeks a board-certified / board-eligible physician to join our expanding Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology as an Academic Hospitalist. This position is in Milwaukee, WI, at the Froedtert & MCW Birth Center. We are comprised of a nationally and internationally renowned, dedicated group of faculty and staff with a strong commitment to clinical care.

Position Highlights

  • Clinical Care: Provide care to both high-risk and low-risk obstetric patients in a hospitalist role. Manage emergent gynecologic conditions and perform surgical procedures, as needed.

Schedule and Locations

  • Practice Locations: Froedtert & MCW Birth Center and Froedtert Emergency Department
  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts, totaling 14 per month, with a balanced mix of weeknights, weekends, and holidays

Position Requirements:

  • Medical degree (MD, DO, or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification (or eligibility) in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • State medical licensure, or eligibility to obtain license, in the state of Wisconsin.
  • Academic rank will be determined based on the qualifications and experience of the successful finalist.
