Outpatient focused position - Mercy Health - Ohio

Mercy Health – St. Rita’s Medical Center is seeking a board certified/board eligible psychiatrist interested in experiencing all four seasons in a beautiful Midwest city surrounded by beautiful suburbs and charming rural communities.  Work in a collegial multi-specialty group at a large regional referral center serving a ten-county area with a robust patient population of 480,000+. Many of our providers live just southwest of Lima in Shawnee Township.      A Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist would be welcomed in this role.

Our region offers minimal traffic, low cost of living, and access to excellent public and private school systems.   Our region is ideal for  raising a family or for empty nesters.  We are  centrally located between multiple large urban hubs (Dayton, Toledo, Columbus, Cincinnati, Detroit, Fort Wayne) for quick access to metropolitan experiences and airports. 

• Opportunity Highlights:
  • • 12-15 patients/day OP
    • TMS available
    • Case mix includes:   major depressive disorder, Bipolar disorder, ADHD, anxiety, panic attacks, OCD and psychosis
    • Psychiatric practice is employed by a progressive 424 bed hospital. 
    • Psychiatric unit has a total of 18 beds for adults and seniors
    • Average daily census: 16 IP
    • Addiction Medicine Unit with 6 detox beds and on-site substance abuse counselors
    • Daily psychiatric consults
    • PHP/IOP service offered
    • Family Medicine, Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine Residency Programs
