Anesthesiologist Job at The University of Kansas Health System in Great Bend, KS

The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist to join the team at the Great Bend Campus in Great Bend, KS.

About the position:  The successful applicant would join a team of 1 anesthesiologist and 2 full-time CRNA s.  Call is shared equitably among with number of providers but will not exceed 1:3.  The OR is scheduled Monday-Friday with occasional add-on cases on Saturday.    Surgical cases include Orthopedics, General Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Ophthalmology and Podiatry.   

The University of Kansas Health System in Great Bend Kansas is seeking an anesthesiologist who is eligible for a Kansas license or exemption. You will be joining an anesthesia team that currently consists of 1 anesthesiologist and 2 CRNA s. This position would be an addition to the existing group. About the University of Kansas Great Bend Campus:

The University of Kansas Health System Great Bend Campus includes a 33-bed, not-for-profit hospital providing short-term acute care services along with orthopedic, obstetric and surgical care units, radiology and an emergency department including Level IV trauma services. The medical pavilion, also located on the Great Bend Campus, provides specialty ambulatory care including obstetrics/gynecology, family medicine, general surgery and specialty clinics.

In the Great Bend community, The University of Kansas Health System also has St. Rose Medical Pavilion. St. Rose Medical Pavilion, located on Broadway Avenue, provides Family Medicine (Including Family Medicine with Obstetrics and Family Medicine with Sports Medicine, specialty outpatient care including cardiac rehab and various specialty care clinics during the month. It also provides a Convenient Care Walk-In Clinic for nonemergency situations.
