Position Information:

Lee Physician Group is looking for an experienced physician (M.D. or D.O) who is interested in an exciting role that promotes on-going education, peer dialogue and subject matter expertise in either medicine or surgery.  As a non-clinical physician advisor, this individual works closely with the physicians, quality improvement team, case managers and patients.  With the goal of optimizing the patient experience in the acute care setting, the Physician Advisor ensures compliance with payer regulations and policies.  A dynamic individual who can communicate effectively and render respect among their peers is paramount.  This individual works collaboratively to ensure appropriate patient status, review and manage payor denials, assist with documentation improvement opportunities and optimize resource utilization thru standardization.  This role is ideal for someone who loves to learn and enjoys educating!
