Essentia Health Heart & Vascular Center is the largest diagnostic, therapeutic, interventional and cardiothoracic surgery program in the region and the second-largest program in Minnesota.

PRACTICE SPECIFICS

• Join 15 Cardiologists including 6 Non-invasive Cardiology Specialists, 6 CV Interventionalists, 3 Electrophysiologist and 2 General Cardiologists
• 1:6 weekend call; 25 weeknight call per year
• ICAEL Accredited Echocardiography Lab; 11 Dedicated Registered Echo Technologists
• Comprehensive full-service, non-invasive Cardiovascular Lab including Cardiac MRI and CTA

• Innovative programs including Heart Failure Program, Atrial Fib, and Cardiac Rehab
• 16 dedicated, full-time cardiac NPs and PAs
• St. Mary’s Medical Center, a 330-bed tertiary care
• Level I Trauma Center and 3^rd highest hospital for acuity in the state of Minnesota
• 9 staff dedicated to cardiac research and over 25 studies currently underway
• Certified as HIMSS EMRAM (Electronic Medical Record Adoption Model) Level 7 for both our Inpatient and Ambulatory facilities

REQUIREMENTS

• BC/BE Cardiology
• CT and MRI a plus but not required
