Position Overview: As a Hospitalist at Laredo Medical Center, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality medical care during shifts. The successful candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive inpatient care, manage admissions, and contribute to the overall well-being of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate the care of patients during night shifts.
• Conduct comprehensive medical assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide timely interventions.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in hospital committees and quality improvement initiatives.

Brief Details:

• Shifts are only 12 hours; 7a - 7p or  7p - 7a
• Quick Credentialing  and flexible scheduling
• Willing to cover travel (Flight, Hotel, & Rental Car) 
• Opportunity for 1099 or W2
• Malpractice with Tail is covered
• No Procedures required 

Qualifications:

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of Texas.
• Previous experience as a Hospitalist preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
