Mercyhealth is seeking board-certified Core Faculty Family Medicine Physicians in Janesville, WI.

This is an excellent opportunity to teach residents and provide patient care.

You will advise and guide the residents, reviewing and supervising patient care within the hospital and at Mercyhealth South. Our residents consult with their preceptor about each patient's plan of care.

Opportunity:

• Craft your outpatient practice half days and share your expertise precepting residents the other half (including administration). 
• Backup call only
• Epic EHR
• Newborn rounding (in rotation with other faculty members)
• Residency faculty responsibilities are assigned by the program director as the need arises.
• The admitting hospital is Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center – Janesville, WI.

Qualifications:

• MD/DO Board Certified
• Residency training from an ACGME-accredited family medicine program.
• The ability to communicate clearly and work as a member of a team.
• A passion for teaching residents and medical students in a didactic/clinic setting.
• Skilled at providing exceptional care for all ages.
• Previous faculty experience in an accredited residency or fellowship program is desired, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
