Marshall Health Network, Inc. is a West Virginia-based not-for-profit academic health system that includes Marshall Health physician practice;  four hospitals:  Cabell Huntington Hospital, a 303-bed teaching hospital, St. Mary s Medical Center, a 393-bed teaching hospital, Hoops Family Children s Hospital, a 72-bed pediatric specialty hospital within Cabell Huntington Hospital; and Rivers Health, a 101 acute-bed hospital, and the employed physician practices of the hospitals. Cabell Huntington Hospital is a teaching hospital for Marshall University Schools of Medicine, Pharmacy and Nursing, while St. Mary s Medical Center operates St. Mary s Schools of Nursing, Respiratory Care and Medical Imaging.

 

There are opportunities available to join our group of Pulmonary Critical Care Physicians in a university setting. The Pulmonary department offers various services, such as Center for Lung Health, Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Lung Nodule Program, Respiratory Care, Interventional Pulmonology, and Lung Cancer Program. In addition, there is a teaching opportunity available in the Pulmonary Fellowship Program. The starting salary offered is excellent, and there is also a bonus and full benefit package available, with a possibility of a sign-on bonus. 

 

The Medical School provides training in 10 residency and 14 fellowship programs with over 250 residents/fellows working alongside 400 providers in 75 areas of primary and specialty care. The healthcare network comprises of two teaching hospitals and a Pediatric hospital that are committed to improving the health of over 1 million children and adults.

 

  An academic appointment will be commensurate with experience and training, and there is also a competitive compensation package available, including moving expenses, signing bonus, and retirement plans. Additionally, an educational stipend is available.
