SMG seeks multiple full-time hospitalists. The successful candidate/candidates will be expected to practice hospital medicine in the primary location of Princeton, West Virginia.
Duties: Provide comprehensive inpatient clinical care to patients with disease and injuries of the human internal organ system and establish preventive health practices for patients.
Qualifications: M.D. or D.O. degree or foreign equivalent. Completed residency in Pediatrics or Family Medicine and West Virginia Medical License eligible. Board eligibility in Family Medicine or Pediatrics. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
Hospitalists provide 24-hour call coverage, round on admitted patients including nursery, and support to ED by providing consultative service and admission to unassigned patients". Also would like to add that will provide coverage to community pediatricians as requested with appropriate notice and sign-out.
