Psychiatrist Job at WVU Medicine in Glen Dale, WV

The West Virginia University Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute (RNI) and WVU School of Medicine s Department of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry seek Psychiatrists (ranks available Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor) for Reynolds Memorial Hospital in Glen Dale, WV. 

Candidates must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical licensure. Successful candidate must have completed a psychiatry residency program and be board certified/eligible in psychiatry. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

The Department of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry is part of the WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute. The RNI team of 280 dedicated faculty provide compassionate patient care and advanced medicine through education, research, and outreach in the many diverse communities we serve. The Institute spearheads efforts to develop innovative solutions for neurological and psychiatric conditions ranging from Alzheimer s to Parkinson s; autism to stroke; and paralysis to chronic pain, addictions, and traumatic brain injury.

Reynolds Memorial Hospital is a nonprofit, acute-care community hospital and member of the West Virginia University Health System, licensed for 90 beds including a 20-bed Skilled Nursing Unit. As an extension of WVU Medicine, a full range of medical services keeps patients close to home while receiving quality care for cancer, cardiac and pulmonary disease, orthopedic conditions, psychiatry services, and much more. Reynolds continues to add and expand services.
