UnityPoint Health Des Moines provides coordinated clinic, hospital and home-based care for patients in Des Moines and Central Iowa. Physicians and providers are supported by our state-of-the-art UnityPoint Health Des Moines hospitals: Iowa Methodist Medical Center, Iowa Lutheran Hospital, Blank Children s Hospital, and Methodist West Hospital. In addition, UnityPoint Health Des Moines is proud to provide comprehensive, cutting-edge cancer services at the John Stoddard Cancer Center. General: 

o    Established and growing practice

o    3 Clinics in the metro area: Current providers: 3 Physicians and 3 APPs

o    Competitive compensation and benefits package Including competitive base salary with additional production incentive

o    Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical who know the patients extremely well

o    Monday through Friday 8am -5pm

o    Additional details by request from group

Responsibilities:

o    Average patients/day: 18-22

o    No call, weekends, or holidays

o    Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills

o    Common visits include: DOT physicals, pre-employment screenings, 411 physicals

o    Do NOT do disability exams

• Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
• Provide the best outcome for every patient every time

Qualifications:

o    MD or DO

o    Board Eligible or Board Certified in Occupational Medicine

o    Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa

o    Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician s field of practice

o    Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)
