OB Laborist & GYN Physician – Genesis Healthcare System
Genesis Healthcare System seeks a dedicated OB/GYN Laborist to join our team in Zanesville, OH—just 45 minutes from Columbus.

Position Highlights:

• Schedule: Avg. 156 hours/month (12/24/36-hour shift options)
  
• Facility: 260-bed hospital, Level 2 nursery, 1,500 births/year
• Team: 7 OBGYN physicians + NP/PA support
• Technology: Two Xi Da Vinci Robots
• Medical Staff: 300+ providers

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage labor, deliveries (vaginal & C-section), and obstetric emergencies
• Provide inpatient triage, OB/GYN consultations, and surgical interventions
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients on prenatal/postpartum care and women's health
• Maintain accurate medical records and uphold best practices

Qualifications:

• MD/DO with OBGYN residency completion
• Board certified/eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Ohio medical license (or eligibility)
• Expertise in labor & delivery, gynecologic care, and surgical procedures
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
