Job Description

The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE is actively recruiting a compassionate, patient-focused and collegial transplant hepatologist to join our faculty. The selected candidate will have a concentrated focus on the delivery of top-quality patient services and operational excellence. 

Nebraska Medicine, our hospital partner, is home to one of the most reputable and well-known liver organ transplant programs in the country. Since its inception in 1985, Nebraska Medicine's Liver Failure and Transplant Program has earned international recognition, a worldwide referral base and Medicare designation. Through our dedicated efforts in education, research, and clinical medicine, we have helped shape the field of liver transplants.

Our compensation package is extremely competitive and includes comprehensive benefits, generous employer-paid retirement contributions, CME, and paid time off. The ideal candidate must be an MD/DO, MD/PhD (or equivalent degree), who is board certified/eligible in gastroenterology and transplant hepatology. We are looking for an individual who is committed to excellence in patient care, teaching and research.
