The Lexington Health Heart and Vascular Center is looking to add a BC/BE Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our STS 3 Star cardiovascular program in the 2026/2027 cycle. Our team of surgeons perform all routine cardiothoracic procedures such as CABG, AVR, MVR, Ascending and Descending Aortic Aneurysm, VATS and Robotic Lobectomies. The ideal candidate will be well-trained in all cardiothoracic procedures, as well as a team player who is passionate about patient care.
The Lexington Health Heart and Vascular Center is a multidisciplinary group which includes cardiology, cardio-thoracic surgery, and vascular surgery.
Annually, our group produces over:
• 4,700 catheterizations
• 1,300 percutaneous coronary interventions

In 2023, our Cardiothoracic Surgeons performed 402 open-heart procedures and 187 TAVRs for a total of 589 cardiac cases. Our Cardiothoracic Surgeons work alongside our team of Cardiologists in our Structural Heart Program, supported by weekly clinics and meetings to review and discuss cases for optimized outcomes. Our surgeons also support our lung cancer screening program, which continues to see increasing volumes and results in over 100 lobectomies annually.
