CarePoint Blue Sky Neurosciences (CPN), in partnership with Research Medical Center, is seeking Neurohospitalists to join our growing hospital-based, employed practice. This is a 100% inpatient position at a Comprehensive Stroke Center, Comprehensive Cardiac Center, and Level 1 Trauma Center.

Neurohospitalist Position Details
- Preferred Candidates: Fellowship-trained or experienced
- Setting: 100% inpatient
- Schedule Options:
- Traditional 7-on, 7-off schedule
- Alternative 182 shifts annually with flexible scheduling
- Call Structure:
- One provider per day takes phone call coverage with the other as back up
- Stroke alerts managed 0700-1600 by in-person team; 1600-0700 via telemedicine
- Teaching Opportunities: Neurology elective for Family Medicine GME program, top-rated nursing school, state-wide lectures and Neurology Grand Rounds presentations
- Patient Volume: Average 15 patients per shift, with expected growth
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage critically ill patients in the Neuro-ICU as a consultant, including those with ischemic and hemorrhage stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH), status epilepticus, trauma, and neurosurgical conditions.
- Inpatient neurohospitalist consultation throughout hospital
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of intensivists, hospitalists, neurology APPs, neurosurgeons, and certified neuroscience nurses to provide state-of-the-art, protocol-driven care.
Compensation & Benefits
- Guaranteed Salary: $400,000
- CME Allowance: $1,500 annually
