Job Description:
We are looking for a compassionate General Neurologist to join our healthcare team in Northern New Hampshire at Androscoggin Valley Hospital. This full-time outpatient role (4 to 4.5 days per week) is ideal for a physician who values community-focused care in a rural setting. You will work alongside another highly skilled neurologist and a dedicated team to provide comprehensive care to patients with a range of neurological conditions.
Diagnose and manage conditions that may include:
- Migraine
- Memory loss
- Essential tremor
- Parkinson's disease
- Cognitive impairment
- Dizziness
- Epilepsy
- Multiple sclerosis
- Polyneuropathy
- Headache
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides office-based general neurology services to new and established patients
- Clinical interests/expertise may include: headaches, migraine, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, dementia, extrapyramidal syndrome, Parkinson’s disease, and stroke.
- On-site Neurodiagnostic testing and imaging, Sleep diagnostics, Cardiology, and Pulmonary
- Rehabilitation services including Speech, Physical, and Occupational Therapy
- Team-oriented, collaborative, and patient-focused
- Interpret EEG studies, perform and interpret NCS/EMG studies, and Botox injections highly preferred.

- Special clinical interests/expertise to complement those of current neurologist and expand scope of services to our region
- Experience in general neurology, recent graduates with strong skills will be considered.
- Comfortable working in a rural, solo coverage environment.

Essential Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited Medical College with a Medical Degree
- Successful completion of a US residency program in Neurology
- Board certified or eligible by NCH Medical Staff Bylaws.
- BLS from the American Heart Association required.
