Neurology Job at North Country Healthcare - NCH in Berlin, NH

Diagnose and manage conditions that may include:

• Migraine
• Memory loss
• Essential tremor
• Parkinson's disease
• Cognitive impairment
• Dizziness
• Epilepsy
• Multiple sclerosis
• Polyneuropathy
• Headache  

Key Responsibilities:  

1. Provides office-based general neurology services to new and established patients
2. Clinical interests/expertise may include: headaches, migraine, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, dementia, extrapyramidal syndrome, Parkinson’s disease, and stroke.
3. On-site Neurodiagnostic testing and imaging, Sleep diagnostics, Cardiology, and Pulmonary
4. Rehabilitation services including Speech, Physical, and Occupational Therapy
5. Team-oriented, collaborative, and patient-focused
6. Interpret EEG studies, perform and interpret NCS/EMG studies, and Botox injections highly preferred.
   

1. Special clinical interests/expertise to complement those of current neurologist and expand scope of services to our region
2. Experience in general neurology, recent graduates with strong skills will be considered.
3. Comfortable working in a rural, solo coverage environment.
4. Strong communication and team collaboration skills.

1. Graduate from an accredited Medical College with a Medical Degree
2. Successful completion of a US residency program in Neurology
3. Board certified or eligible by NCH Medical Staff Bylaws.
4. BLS from the American Heart Association required.
