CERTIFIED NURSE MIDWIFE (CNM) OPPORTUNITY DETAILS: 

Lake Region Healthcare is currently seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife, (CNM) to expand their Obstetrics program in Fergus Falls, MN. The CNM will provide care to patients during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum; as well as, family planning and gynecologic needs. As a new specialty with our organization, the CNM’s will aide in the development and growth of the program while partnering with 1 OB/GYN MD, 1 CNM, and 2 Family Medicine w/Obstetric MD’s. 

•   As a unit, obstetric team members assist in the delivery of approximately 220 babies each year
• Typical business hours are Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm
•   32 patient contact hours/week
•   Equitable participation in 1:4 on-call rotation with the eventual anticipated on-call of a 1:5 to 1:6 on-call rotation. 

Education & Licensing Requirements:

•   Board certified in midwifery from AMCB
•   Eligible for RN and APRN licensure in Minnesota
• Current BLS and NRP certifications

Compensation/Benefits: 

•   Base guaranteed salary  for the first 2 years of employment with option for additional compensation based on production hours worked 
•   Annual CME reimbursement & paid professional dues and memberships
