Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive, academic health system in central New York and a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking a BC/BE physician to join its existing group of Pulmonologists. Visa Sponsorship Available.
Description
Bassett Healthcare Network is an integrated and salaried healthcare system that provides care and services to people living in an eight-county region covering 5,600 square miles in Central New York. The organization includes five corporately affiliated hospitals, as well as skilled nursing facilities, community and school-based health centers, and health partners in related fields. Job Description & Responsibilities
- Join an established group of 5 Pulmonologists, 5 Intensivists, 3 Sleep physicians, 2 Advanced Practice Clinicians, 4 dedicated outpatient Respiratory Therapists and 1 Nurse Specialist. Clinical time and roles in the three fields, Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine and Sleep Medicine, are customized.
- Resident and Medical Student supervision and teaching
- Weekly multidisciplinary clinic-radiologic conference
- Bronchoscopy with EBUS, Point of care Ultrasound
- AASM-certified Sleep Center
- Collaboration with ENT for hypoglossal nerve stimulator therapy
- Collaboration with Interventional radiology and Thoracic surgery for procedures
- Fully integrated EPIC-EMR since 2011
- Salary Range: $328,067 – $410,006. This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good-faith belief in the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.

- MD, DO or MBBS
- Board Eligible or Board Certified
- NYS Licensure
- BLS Certification Required
