Boulder Medical Center (BMC) is actively recruiting for a full-time physiatrist to join its Physiatry practice in their Boulder County clinics. BMC has been providing high-quality medical care to Boulder County and its surrounding area since 1949. A physician owned and governed a multi-specialty practice of 90 providers, including MDs, DOs, Certified Mid-Wives, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and 320 support staff. BMC is committed to high-quality service and expert, professional care. It serves patients in five locations, conveniently located in Boulder, Erie, Longmont, and Louisville, CO and is led by a full-time professional management team that allows you to focus on patient care.

Education:
- Medical Degree (MD, DO)
- Specialty residency training
- Board certified
Job Specifics:
- Experience in diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.
- Procedure based pain management
- Orders clinically appropriate testing such as X-rays, Cat Scans Ultrasounds and MRIs.
- Recommending and performing various medical procedures, such as trigger point injections, soft tissue, and joint injections to treat pain and improve physical functioning
- Injections under fluoroscopy/sedation
- EMG/ diagnostic ultrasound
- Recommends consultation with orthopedists, neurologist, psychologists, spine specialists and pain management.
- Treats neuropathic pain
- Botulinum injections for spasticity
- Knowledge of CPT codes and reimbursements
