Atlantic Health is Seeking a Physician Specializing in Obesity Medicine and Clinical Nutrition

Atlantic Health, one of New Jersey’s largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking a board eligible or board certified physician in Obesity Medicine with additional board eligibility or certification as a Physician Nutrition Specialist to join Atlantic Medical Group Metabolic Medicine. This full-time position is based in Summit, with hospital responsibilities at Overlook Medical Center, a 500-bed award-winning hospital.

This is a unique opportunity to practice in a single, integrated role focused on the comprehensive care of patients with obesity, malnutrition, and complex metabolic needs. The ideal candidate will have experience in the medical management of weight-related conditions, interpretation of nutrition-related labs, and physician-directed nutrition support, including enteral and parenteral nutrition. The practice is supported by a collaborative team, including a registered dietitian.

Qualifications

• BE/BC in Obesity Medicine (required)
• BE/BC as a Physician Nutrition Specialist (required)
• NJ licensed or eligible for licensure
• Experience in total parenteral and enteral nutrition preferred

Benefits

Salary Range: $225,000–$275,000 base salary only; excludes any quality and/or productivity incentives.
