Don’t miss out on this leadership opportunity with Asante Health System.  Asante Grants Pass Family Medicine is currently seeking a full-time BE/BC Primary Care Medical Director/Physician to join our team!

Primary job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaborates with other service line and medical staff department leaders to advance care delivery to patients across the lifespan.
  • Responsible for providing overall medical leadership, direction, and integration of physician elements for the assigned service lines.
  • Drives program, process, and quality improvements to elevate the entire service line and the care it provides.
  • Provides clinical direction and leadership to promote intradepartmental and interdisciplinary communication and collaboration to enhance the quality and cost-effectiveness of patient care.
  • Actively participates in community and system-wide initiatives to promote improved population health outcomes.
  • Serve as physician champion for performance improvement, regulatory compliance related to physician matters, and complaint resolution.

Education:  Graduate of an accredited medical school. Successful completion of residency training in an accredited Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency program. 

License / Certification:    MD or DO license by the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners; Basic Life Support (BLS) certified from American Heart Association; Board Certified / Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine by the American Board of Medical Specialties; Must obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges; Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs; Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in hospital’s programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.

Experience:    Advanced analytical skills regarding evaluation and treatment; Ability to use professional approach to problem solving during stressful situations; Communication with others shall reflect a positive attitude and enthusiasm; Behavior exemplifies organizational philosophy.
