Great opportunity to join a well established single specialty GI practice with five full-time Gastroenterologists and four Nurse Practitioners. General GI and advanced procedure trained gastroenterologists are encouraged to apply. J1 sponsorship available. 

We are looking for a motivated gastroenterologist with general or advanced GI skills to join our group, which is the premier provider of GI services in North West Indiana. You will have the autonomy and financial reward of owning your own practice, endoscopy center and ancillary revenue streams with total income potential exceeding $1M. The ancillary revenue streams include endoscopy center profits, call pay income, nurse practitioners, pathology lab and clinical research. The opportunity will allow you to enjoy working with a collegial group of providers which has served the community for over 40 years. The job also provides an excellent opportunity for shared learning, feedback and case discussion with fellow gastroenterologists. We cover two hospitals: St Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka and Memorial Hospital Beacon Health System, South Bend. The call frequency is 1:6. We offer malpractice, CME, health insurance, 401(k) and relocation expense.

South Bend and the surrounding areas of Granger and Mishwaka constitute a vibrant college town with excellent schools and residential areas. There are a variety of restaurants, entertainment options, University of Notre Dame (and several other smaller universities), college sports and theater. Summers, spring and fall feature moderate temperatures and low humidity. Enjoy the shores of Lake Michigan (30–60 miles) with many small beach-side quaint towns, including St. Joseph, South Haven, New Buffalo, Saugatuck etc. Chicago downtown is only 90 minutes away on the 80/90 toll road.
